Robert is a graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Before joining the firm, Robert was the Associate General Counsel to an insurance brokerage. He provided advice on insurance claims, general liability and insurance coverage issues. His career also included a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

While attending law school, Robert served as the Manuscripts Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum and was Co-President of the Business and Tax Law Association. In addition, he was elected to serve as the Student Bar Association Treasurer. Robert interned for the Honorable Kathleen G. Cox for the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. During his studies, Robert represented low-income individuals and community organizations as a Rule 16 Student Attorney for the University of Baltimore School of Law Civil Advocacy Clinic.

Prior to law school, Robert was a Business Analyst for a federal government contractor. He provided services to the Bureau of Consular Affairs within the Department of State. There, he advised on policy initiatives, interagency agreements, and strategic planning.
